Job summary / objective:
Commercial Manager will be responsible for providing high quality support services in construction claims, commercial or contractual advisory services to Petrocontracts clients. Commercial Manager will be part of Petrocontracts quantum assessment and contract management team and will be accountable for the delivery of project task / commission ensuring commercial and quality outcomes, whilst strengthening client relationships.

Experience on large, complex construction projects. Commercial contracts experience.
Exceptional written and verbal communications, presentation, and organizational skills.
Negotiation Skills.
Qualifications / experience required:
Bachelor of Science degree in Civil/Mechanical/Electrical Engineering, Construction Management or related degree.
15 years of experience in resolution of claims & disputes management, project controls, delay analysis, productivity analysis.
A minimum of 2-5 years of experience in project management, CPM scheduling, and/or contract change management.
Proficiency with Excel, Word, Power point and Outlook. GCC experience preferred.
Analyze or prepare complex construction quantum, delay/disruption/acceleration and cost claims, with responsibility for the entire assignment, or acting as a lead on larger claims.
Prepare reports, present findings and assist in claim negotiations with opposing parties.
Perform construction schedule reviews for ongoing projects and provide opinions, advice and reports on project progress and forecasts.
Read contract language, determine proper interpretation, and apply to facts.
Manage assignments and deliver profitable results within planned budget.
Support and execute business development strategies to identify and deliver construction claims opportunities and engagements.
Establish and maintain professional business relations with clients.
